In January we were privileged to be able to offer our members and friends this Bugs Ed workshop, led by the insect education team at Bugs Ed.

The workshop included a PowerPoint presentation, amazing displays of mounted insects, spiders and scorpions from around the world, live Australian insects (some of which can be handled). We also went for a bug hunt, and learnt how to use equipment to catch insects: bug traps as sweep nets, beating sheets and pooters.
